Ritchie Taylor

RitchieRitchie Taylor has been racing speedway for 26 seasons, starting of in the Streetstock grade progressing through the various saloon grades, entering the Super Saloon grade in 1990.

In the early years he based his racing out the Dunedin area and then in 1994 shifted his racing to Woodford Glen which has probably the most competitive field of Super Saloons in the country.

In 1998 he purchased his first Murray Gordge Chassis Corvette and this car provided him with a lot of success and elevated him to one of the top drivers in the South Island. 
After a number of successful seasons this car was sold on and a later model Murray Gordge chassis was purchased.  To date this car has been one of the more successful cars in the South Island.

The current car is a late model body style, Murray Gordge Chassis, 418 cu in Methanol injected chevy, bert 2 speed trans and winters quick change diff, suspension is coil overs all round.
